Homemade waffles:

  • 1 cup flour
  • Scant 1/2 cup milk
  • 5 teaspoons cream (35% fat)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 egg

Topping:

  • Organic coconut chunks (Genuine Coconut)
  • Serve with different toppings

Waffles:

  1. Whip the egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
  2. Mix the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
  3. Add the warm milk, melted butter and cream. Mix until smooth.
  4. Sieve the flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
  5. Gently fold in the whipped egg whites with a spatula.
  6. Brush the waffle maker with butter.
  7. Pour a little batter into the waffle maker without filling it completely as the batter will spread.
  8. Leave to cook and do not open until cooked through. Serve immediately.
  1. Place the waffle on a plate and add organic coconut chunks (Genuine Coconut)
  2. Decorate to taste with your favorite ingredients and toppings.
