Homemade waffles:
- 1 cup flour
- Scant 1/2 cup milk
- 5 teaspoons cream (35% fat)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 1/2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 egg
Topping:
- Organic coconut chunks (Genuine Coconut)
- Serve with different toppings
Waffles:
- Whip the egg whites until stiff. Set aside.
- Mix the egg yolks, sugar and vanilla essence in a bowl.
- Add the warm milk, melted butter and cream. Mix until smooth.
- Sieve the flour, salt and baking powder into a bowl.
- Gently fold in the whipped egg whites with a spatula.
- Brush the waffle maker with butter.
- Pour a little batter into the waffle maker without filling it completely as the batter will spread.
- Leave to cook and do not open until cooked through. Serve immediately.
- Place the waffle on a plate and add organic coconut chunks (Genuine Coconut)
- Decorate to taste with your favorite ingredients and toppings.
